Orchid Health Announces Provider Transition at Hoodland Clinic

Welches, OR –  Andrew White, PA-C, will be departing his role as a Primary Care Provider at the  Hoodland Clinic this fall. Andrew’s last day will be October 20, 2025, as he and his family prepare to relocate out of state.

Andrew joined Orchid Health in 2017, and for the past eight years, has been an integral part of both patient care and the growth of Orchid’s organization. His thoughtful, compassionate, and dedicated approach has touched thousands of patients.

Continuity of Care

Orchid Health remains committed to ensuring seamless care for all patients during this transition. In the coming months:

• Actively Recruiting Replacement – Orchid Health is currently recruiting a new primary care provider to take over Andrew’s role and continue providing exceptional care to the Hoodland community.
• Interim Coverage – Dr. Douglas Lyon will continue to serve as Lead Provider for Hoodland Clinic. From September 1 through November 30, Dr. Lyon will be on paternity leave. During this period, a locum provider will be on site to ensure uninterrupted care for patients.
• Maintaining Access – Patient schedules are being adjusted to maintain access and minimize disruption during the transition.
