Meet Jessica Couey, LPC — Behavioral Health Support, Right Here in Oakridge
We’re proud to welcome Jessica Couey, LPC, our new Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC). Jessica offers short-term, evidence-based counseling for patients ages 5 and up, and brings deep experience working with individuals and families in rural and underserved communities.
At Orchid, behavioral health is part of your primary care team. That means you can talk to a BHC about things like:
- Stress, anxiety, or depression
- Grief, burnout, or big life changes
- Emotional health challenges related to chronic conditions
- Parenting support or school-related struggles
Jessica provides brief, goal-oriented therapy sessions using tools like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. Whether you’re facing something big or just feeling stuck, BHC services are here to help—no long-term commitment or diagnosis required.
Jessica is a first-generation Korean-American, an Air Force veteran, and a passionate advocate for whole-person care. She holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has worked in both public and private mental health settings. Now living on a small farm with her family, she’s excited to serve the Oakridge community with care that’s kind, grounded, and personalized.
If you’ve been looking for local counseling support in Oakridge, Jessica is now seeing patients and ready to help you take the first step.
