Meet Madison Byer, LCSW — Behavioral Health Support, Right Here in Sandy

Orchid Health

We’re excited to welcome Madison Byer, LCSW, our new Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) at Orchid Health Sandy Clinic. Madison offers short-term, evidence-based counseling for patients ages 5 and up, with a focus on integrated care and trauma-informed support.

At Orchid, behavioral health is part of your primary care team. That means you can talk to a BHC about things like:

  • Stress, anxiety, or depression

  • Grief, burnout, or big life changes

  • Emotional health challenges related to chronic conditions

  • Parenting support or school-related struggles

Madison provides brief, goal-oriented therapy using tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), motivational interviewing, and grief counseling. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed or just need someone to talk to, BHC services are here to help—no long-term commitment.

Originally from Oregon, Madison recently returned to the state after five years in Washington. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Oregon State University and a master’s in social work from Boise State University. Her background includes work as a youth and family therapist and most recently, an integrated mental health social worker.

Madison is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered, seen, and heard. She believes in meeting people where they are and partnering with them on their path to healing.

Outside the clinic, Madison enjoys skiing, backpacking, rock climbing, and reading—especially when it means spending time in nature.

If you’ve been looking for local counseling support in Sandy, Boring, Kelso, and surrounding areas Madison is now seeing patients and ready to help you take the first step.
