We are excited to announce the opening of our new Hoodland Clinic in Welches, Oregon in Mid-October 2024! Orchid Health is dedicated to providing comprehensive and high-quality healthcare. We are excited to bring these services to the residents of the Hoodland Corridor, including Brightwood, Welches, Rhododendron, Zig Zag, Government Camp, and surrounding communities. Our mission is to make exceptional healthcare accessible to everyone in the community.

At our Hoodland Clinic, we will offer a wide range of healthcare services to meet the needs of individuals and families at every stage of life. Our services will include:

• Primary Care and Pediatrics: Our primary care services ensure that you and your family receive the best preventive care, routine check-ups, and management of chronic conditions.
• Acute Care: We provide timely care for acute illnesses, scrapes, scratches, stitches, and injuries.
• Behavioral Health Services: We recognize that our mental health is just as important as our physical health. Our behavioral health services support short-term intervention through counseling, therapy, and other mental health interventions.
• Telehealth: We offer telehealth services, allowing you to consult with your healthcare providers from the comfort of your home.

Billing and Insurance Overview 

We understand that navigating healthcare costs can be challenging, we strive to make our billing process as transparent and straightforward as possible. Here’s what you need to know:

• Accepted Insurances: We accept most major insurances, including Medicaid, and Medicare. We aim to ensure that financial barriers do not prevent you from receiving the care you need.
• Sliding Scale Program: We offer a sliding scale program based on income. Learn more here. 
• Billing Support: Our billing team is here to help you understand your healthcare costs. If you have any questions about your bill or insurance coverage, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
• No Cost Student Care: All school-age kids in the district receive care at NO cost. We provide these services because of our close partnerships with insurers and the state who are helping us to prioritize rural community health without financial barriers. No student is denied or charged for services. Insurance is billed whenever possible.
