Open to all students and faculty in the district
We are thrilled to announce the opening of our fifth clinic, the Sandy School-based Health Center, located inside Sandy High School. Our new clinic will be dedicated to providing comprehensive whole-person primary care and immediate care services to all students in the district and their families, as well as to staff and faculty of the Oregon School Trail District (OTSD) beginning in the 2023-2024 school year.
Convenient Access to Care
As part of our commitment to serving the Sandy community, our new Sandy School-based Health Center operates during school hours, ensuring easy and timely access to a wide range of services. We understand the importance of addressing both physical and mental health needs, which is why we offer:
- Primary Care
- Pediatrics
- Behavioral Health
- Immunizations
- Referrals
Our clinic is conveniently located off Highway 26, located at the Upper Gym entrance of Sandy High School with our own doorway access and private parking. Our dedicated team is here to provide personalized care and support, creating a warm and welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and heard.
Reputation for Delivering Exceptional Local Healthcare
Just like our other Orchid clinics, the Sandy School-based Health Center upholds our commitment to delivering exceptional local healthcare. We are grateful to be recognized as a 5-star Patient-Centered Primary Care Home (PCPCH), offering respectful and compassionate care to individuals of all ages, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
We are proud to be recognized for impact in our communities. Our McKenzie River clinic was voted Business of the Year 2021 by our peers in the McKenzie River Reflections, and our Fern Ridge clinic was honored as the runner-up Business of the Year by the Veneta Fern Ridge Chamber of Commerce.
Commitment to Community Health
At Orchid Health, our commitment to local care, community partnerships, and exceptional clinical excellence is at the core of our operations. We believe in collaborating with local organizations, businesses, and community members to not only deliver outstanding healthcare but also giving back through events, fundraisers, and donation drives.
Even in times of crisis, we remain steadfast in our mission to provide care. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we retained all our employees and offered free telehealth visits. When the devastating Holiday Farm Fire struck the McKenzie River Valley and we lost our third clinic, we quickly organized our team members and partnered with local organizations to ensure uninterrupted care for the affected community until we could secure a mobile clinic.
In recognition of our dedication and support during times of crisis, we were honored with the Oregon Office of Rural Health's Oregon Rural Health Hero of the Year Award.
The Sandy School-based Health Center joins our network of clinics, which includes our award-winning Oakridge, Estacada, Wade Creek, and Blue River locations. We are thrilled to expand our compassionate, patient-centered care to the OTSD community, and we look forward to providing access to care and resources to those in need.
