Grand Opening Celebration at the McKenzie River Clinic

On October 25th, Orchid Health and McKenzie Valley Wellness celebrated its grand reopening at its original site in Blue River. The clinic, Oregon's first rural health facility, was tragically lost in the 2020 Holiday Farm Fire, leaving a significant gap in local healthcare. With $2 million in funding from the State of Oregon's Fire Relief Act and donations, the new clinic provides expanded services and features dedicated community spaces.

Scott Wright, a longtime valley resident, was honored as the first patient in the new building, bringing full-circle his long-standing relationship with the clinic. During the fire, Orchid Health adapted by deploying a mobile clinic and setting up a temporary facility to ensure continuous care. Now, the clinic is fully restored, ready to serve the valley with high-quality, accessible healthcare. This milestone is a testament to the strength of community partnerships and the commitment to local health.

Plus, each toy donation enters you into a raffle for a chance to win one of Lizzy’s unique, hand-crafted animal-shaped platers, filled with thoughtful items to enjoy. Let’s come together to spread joy and make this holiday season unforgettable for our community!
