Orchid Health is proud to announce the arrival of Clem Pope to our Oakridge clinic! Clem is practicing as our Physician Assistant and will be available for in-person appointments.

Clem specializes in preventative care, health maintenance, and acute care. Clem uses evidence-based principles to practice family and emergency medicine.

Clem is originally from Idaho and has lived in Oakridge for the past ten years. Clem received his Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University and his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Oregon Health & Science University.

Prior to working with Orchid, Clem worked in the Emergency Department at Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg. “I strive to work with patients to manage chronic conditions,” says Clem when talking about his work style, “my aim is to help avoid unneeded visits to the emergency department.”

Clem enjoys spending time outside with his wife and three kids. They enjoy skiing, traveling, camping, and time on the river and the trails around Oakridge. He is currently a member of the Oakridge School Board.
